Reflecting the uniqueness, elegance, and grandeur of architect M. Vedat Tek’s design, this magnificent structure—completed in 1914—has played a significant role in Istanbul’s commercial history, including its time as Nestlé’s ‘Dersaadet Center.’
Acquired by Ferda and Osman Uslu in 2011, Muradiye Han (formerly known as Sabit Bey Han) was restored over the years, preserving its legacy as a rare M. Vedat Tek masterpiece for today and tomorrow.
From the terrace of Muradiye Han, Istanbul’s enchanting silhouette greets you. The endless blue of the Bosphorus stretches toward the Asian shores. On one side, the Galata Tower rises with its historical splendor, while on the other, Topkapı Palace shines brightly.
Located in the heart of Karaköy, Muradiye Han remains a symbol of Istanbul’s timeless elegance.
Welcome to Muradiye Han, where history meets grace.

Vedat Tek (1873–1942) is regarded as one of the most influential figures of early modern Turkish architecture and a leading pioneer of the First National Architectural Movement. Educated in Paris and deeply inspired by both Ottoman aesthetics and Western architectural principles, he developed a distinctive style that blended traditional motifs with modern construction techniques. His works—including the iconic Istanbul Post Office, HaydarpaÅŸa Ferry Terminal, and numerous public buildings, mansions, and urban residences—helped shape the architectural identity of the late Ottoman and early Republican periods. Vedat Tek’s legacy lies in his ability to bridge heritage and modernity, creating timeless structures that continue to define the cultural and architectural landscape of Turkey.
